Contest Rules

1. 1. Submit a game that you have designed in a 28-day window. Games will need to be designed to meet the theme.
   2. The deadline for submissions is 28th June 2021 at 11:59 PM IST.
   3. Your submission needs to be your original idea and not plagiarised. Failing to meet this criterion will result in disqualification from the contest.
   4. Your submission should be in English only.
   5. You are free to share a link to a digital prototype and a gameplay video.
   6. The game should not be available for sale, pre-order, or crowdfunding prior to or while it is in the contest.
   7. You can submit 3 game ideas per theme in the contest.
   8. You must be at least 18 years old to enter the contest.
   9. The judges’ decision is final, and you will not hold the organizers of this contest or the judges liable for any matters related to this contest.

Judging

1. 1. Judging will commence from 1st July and the winners will be declared by 11th July ‘21.
   2. We will select 4 Best games in each theme.
   3. The judging criteria will involve:
      1. Adherence to the theme
      2. Innovation
      3. Fun and engagement
      4. Clarity of rules
      5. Visually enhanced and structured presentation. Videos and Graphics are winners for tools

1. Tabletop game
2. Ages: 3+ years
3. Gameplay Duration: 15 – 20 Mins
4. No. of players: Minimum 2 – 4 players
5. Game play to focus on skill development in pre-schoolers
6. Prefer player interaction
7. Mass Market
8. Should not replicate or retheme any of the mass market games
9. Preferably limited/few special game components
10. Preferably Gender-equal themes.
11. Engage Kids, Family and Adults
12. Chic and Premium look and feel
13. Theme concept need to be relatable
14. Slow yet exciting build up and the Wow moment towards the end go give a final Thrill!
15. Extra points for a classy, high on visuals presentation

Here’s a high-level overview of the Game Requirements for Strategy Games:

2. Ages: 8+ years
3. Gameplay Duration: 30mins – 45mins (Max. 60 mins)
4. No. of players: Minimum 2 – 4 players (max. 8 players)
5. Prefer 30% – 60% Strategy + remaining based on Luck in the gameplay (Entry Level strategy)
6. Prefer player interaction
7. Mass Market
8. Should not replicate or retheme any of the mass market games
9. Complexity rating 1-1.5 as on BoardGameGeek standards
10. Preferably limited/few special game components
11. Preferably Gender-equal themes.
12. Engage Kids, Family and Adults
13. Chic and Premium look and feel
14. Theme concept need to be relatable
15. Let’s see a game that requires thinking and strategizing to win. challenging yet also entertaining, involves a twist or flipping point
16. Extra points for a classy, high on visuals presentation

Contest Rules

1. Introduction
1.1 To enter this contest you must enter as directed on our website
1.3 This contest is free to enter (no purchase required, unless otherwise stated).
1.4 Promotions on social media are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn or any other social network. You are providing your information to WinMagic Toys Private Limited and not to any other party.

2. Eligibility and entry restrictions
2.1 To be eligible to enter the contest
(a) entrants must be a real person, at least 18 years old and permanent residents of India (proof of address or age may be required)
(b) entrants must not be our employee, officer or agent, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the contest, and you must not be a family relation of any such person.
2.2 The maximum number of entries to this contest per person is 1.
2.3 The maximum number of entries for the contest shall be at our sole discretion.

3. Start and closing dates
3.1 The contest shall open for entries at the time and on the date specified on our website and/or social media channels, and similarly, shall close to entries at the time and on the date specified on our website and social media channels. Unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the contest will be invalid and will not be entered the contest.
3.3 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3.4 We reserve the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by us.
3.5 Entry into the contest will be deemed as acceptance of all of these terms and conditions.

4. Judging
4.1 Contest entries shall be judged, or winners selected based on those criteria specified on our website and/or social media channels in relation to the contest.
4.2 If a contest entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, that entrant shall not be entitled to be adjudged a winner and will not be entitled to a prize in any circumstances.
4.3 Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the contest will be final and no correspondence will be entered.
4.4 The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by Indian law and any disputes
will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of court in Mumbai.

5. Winners and prizes
5.1 Contest prizes shall be specified on our website or social media channels
5.2 Contest prize winners will be notified of the contest result by email not more than 30 days following the closing date of the contest, and will receive their prizes with a mutually agreeable date once a product development agreement has been signed with the winners.
5.3 Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the prize winner for 14 days but if the winner fails to respond to our notification attempts within this time or provide an address for delivery of the prize or fails to meet any of the eligibility requirements or is otherwise unable to comply with the contest terms and conditions, we reserve the right to disqualify that entrant and offer the prize to the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found.
5.4 The results of a contest will be announced on our website within 30 days following the closing date of the contest. The announcement may include the name and photograph, the town or region of residence and prize details of each prize winner.
5.5 No alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

6. Copyright and moral rights
6.1 You warrant to us that you created your contest entries, that you own all of the copyright in those entries, and that our use of the entries in accordance with these rules will not infringe any person’s intellectual property rights or other legal rights.

7. What happens to entries?
7.1 Contest entries will not be returned. Please, therefore, keep a copy of your contest entries.

8. Publicity
8.1 We may undertake publicity activities relating to contests and prize awards. The winner therefore agrees to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of town or region of residence in any post-prize-winning publicity names, surnames, towns or regions of residence and prize details.
